Officials at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาสามร้อยยอด) have announced that water-based tourist activities will resume on the 1st Sept, 2024. This follows a temporary closure earlier in the year to facilitate environmental recovery within certain areas of the park.

The reopening will restore access to popular attractions, including the Nature Study Center at Bueng Bua, the Khao Chao Kissing Cave, and the Khao Khan Bandai National Park Protection Unit No. 4.

Visitors can once again enjoy water-based activities such as boat tours, which were previously suspended to protect the park’s natural environment.

The closure, initiated in May 2024, was part of a broader effort to promote the long-term health and sustainability of the local ecosystem.

Park officials have confirmed that environmental conditions have now improved sufficiently to welcome tourists back to these areas.
